Shift: 7:00 am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday

Minimum Job Requirements


  • Physical- Generally sedentary work. Some light lifting may be involved. Proficient in the use of a PC keyboard with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Working Hours - Full time (40+ hours)
  • Personal Trait - Excellent communication skills, positive teamwork, and a safety attitude. Conscientious attention to detail and accuracy while able to multitask and troubleshoot. Must be "quality-minded."

Job Duties and Responsibilities


  • Maintain and keep records in accordance with AS9100 quality standards.
  • Leads Material Review Board Meetings and disposition material in the MRP system at the direction of the team.
  • Creates Discrepant Material Request (DMR).
  • Manage change request log, including getting signatures and scanning documents.
  • Assist Quality Manager in data analysis of key process indicators.
  • Analyze data to figure out trends in the process as directed by the Quality Manager.
  • Assist QC with new hire training.
  • Completes production audits.
  • Support 3rd party audits.
  • Work on continuous improvement projects to meet department objectives.
  • Arrive at work in a punctual manner and be willing to work additional hours when needed.
  • Create Certificates of Compliance for products produced and maintain records in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Work safely and ensure hazardous conditions are eliminated. Follow company safety procedures.
  • Other ad hoc duties as requested.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Knowledge of quality control, quality assurance, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9000 or AS9100).
  • Problem-solving skills to assist in root cause analysis and solution identification. Experience in resolving internal and external quality issues.
  • Leadership to effectively manage customer requirements and expectations.
  • Ability to lead and supervise quality department personnel.
  • Experience with FMEA, PPAP, FAI, and RCCA
  • Experience working directly with the customer and being able to interpret customer requirements.
  • Experience with QMS and/or process Auditing
  • Demonstrated teamwork to work collaboratively with all departments to effectively accomplish company goals.
  • Advanced computer and writing skills. Skilled in the use of Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read, understand, and explain schematics, blueprints, and/or technical manuals.
  • Effective communication skills. Direct customer and supplier interaction experience desired.

Education and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Quality experience in a manufacturing environment. ISO 9000/AS9100 Quality Management System preferred.
