Job Summary
The HR Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading and executing key HR initiatives, with a focus on compliance, technology optimization and alignment of HR business processes across the Company.
Essential Functions
- Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values."

- Develops, manages and implements a variety of HR projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Collaborates with HR and business leaders to identify and ensure alignment on project needs, objectives, scope, deliverables and timelines.
- Leads the implementation of new HR systems and technology, including UKG Pro Payroll, SOC & SOX Compliance, HRIS/UKG Ticketing System, and other related tools.
- Ensures cross-company alignment with HR policies and procedures and leads efforts to standardize and formalize business processes.
- Identifies opportunities to streamline HR processes, enhance efficiency and optimize the delivery of HR services.
- Develops and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly reports on feedback and results.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of HR Shared Services and recommends improvements for efficiency, compliance and optimization.
- Enhances the optimization of HRIS technology, including employee and manager self-service, reporting, data analytics and dashboards for leadership.
- Explores additional opportunities for automation, digital solutions and the use of AI to improve HR processes and decision-making.
- Leads project to update and maintain HR policies and employee handbook in Company's Information Management System (IMS).
- Develops internal audit processes to ensure compliance with file feeds to/from HRIS and monitors data integrity.
- Creates and manages business processes to keep HR organization up to date on changing federal, state and local laws and regulations impacting policies and practices.
- Performs additional responsibilities, as directed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field or equivalent level experience.
- 5+ years' experience in HRIS management, HR project management, HR operations, IT project management or similar role in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems, best practices, compliance requirements and process optimization.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in HR/payroll technology, reporting tools and analytics; previous experience with UKGPro, highly preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and drive process improvements.
