What is the opportunity? The Senior Business Analyst will be part of RBC's Product Delivery Office supporting the Advisory Platform within the TradeWeb Direct Integration and Portfolio Advantage space. You will be responsible for analyzing information technology requirements in business processes through requirements elicitation, solutions identification, risk analysis and collaboration across Information Technology teams. What will you do?
- Perform requirements stakeholder analysis to identify impacted or influencing groups and stakeholder requirements, develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, manage risks, and communicate to appropriate parties.
- Develop documents for IT applications, system specifications and test plans, according to existing standards and methodologies.
- Elicit the requirements needed to carry out business processes including interviews, intelligence analysis and survey assessments.
- Translate business needs, processes, and procedures into a workable system, and articulating on specific software requirements by communicating these requirements with technology experts and business stakeholder.
- Collaborate with business architects and other technology staff to deliver project results while implementing risk analysis and meeting required deliverables.
- Utilize statistical tools to interpret data sets to identify trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
- Collaborating with peer Business Analysts, Project Leads, and IT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent.
- Mining data from primary and secondary sources, analyzing and reorganizing data in a format that can be easily read.
- Utilize statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and service providers to ensure the requirements are met.
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
- 5+ years working as a Business Analyst within a financial institution, preferably supporting FA Advisory tools or similar systems.
- Proficient in creating and maintaining business analysis artifacts - Workflows, Data flow diagrams, Data Mapping documents, User Journeys, etc.
- Experience writing and running SQL queries to extract and analyze data large data sets as well as the ability to visualize data, etc.
- Competent in managing JIRA and SharePoint projects, boards, and workflows.

- Certifications such as Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI - PBA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (IIBA-CBAP or CCBA), Agile Certification (CSM, CPO)
- Trading systems experience
- Data Analysis experience
- Experience with Confluence
- Vendor Management experience

The expected salary range for this particular position is $65,000-$115,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
