The Account Success team is looking for a highly driven and collaborative Manager, Analytics & Insights to serve as a strategic analytics lead to the Account Success team.The Account Success, Analytics & Insights, Manager professional will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of Salesforce and supporting those that support our customers. This role is a hybrid of traditional jobs in strategic planning, sales strategy, business operations, reporting, and analysis - requiring a mix of engineering, visualization, analysis and strong communication.

Success in this role means supporting the Account Success team to drive the continued success of Salesforce by supporting our customer success strategy and is pivotal in driving the success and growth of our products. Sample projects range from the strategic to the very operational including identifying trends in customer consumption, evaluating growth opportunities, forecasting, business planning & executive presentations, dashboard creation and regular review of key performance metrics.

We are seeking a strategic problem solver who can effectively balance detailed analysis with a comprehensive understanding of broader business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to synthesize complex data and insights into clear, actionable strategies that align with our overarching goals. The role requires interaction with various areas of the organization and provides exposure to senior executives; someone who can navigate both high-level strategic planning, and intricate operational details, ensuring that all efforts contribute to the success of our organization.

Your Impact:

  • Deliver recommendations and insights that support senior stakeholders (VPs and SVPs) in managing their critical metrics

  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the business to influence and set strategy

  • Understand the underlying data architecture supporting the business, and how to use it to report on business performance and forecast results

  • Create comprehensive datasets leveraging your business knowledge to scale insights.

  • Develop Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards for use by global leaders and field teams

  • Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives to engage with their leaders or counterparts

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, computer science, economics, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related field.

  • Self-starter and a high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand

  • Proficiency with SQL and Tableau (or a similar data visualization tool). Python and/or R a plus

  • Valuable work experience focused on quantitative analysis, Excel, and logical reasoning

  • Proficiency in creating BI dashboards and assets end-to-end; from initial scoping, data wrangling, asset creation, deployment and enablement

  • Previous experience of end-to-end execution (Data collection--Feature selection--Model training--Model Deployment) of predictive models preferred

  • Familiarity with CRM and data management

  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

  • Team player able to lead and work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus

  • Strong situational analysis, negotiation, and decision-making abilities

  • Detail and quality-oriented with the desire to quickly learn new concepts, business models, and technologies

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $127,200 to $174,900.
