POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Position Overview

McCallie Associates, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Development Operations (DevOps) Engineer who will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable application deployment and system integration; automate infrastructure tasks, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure operational stability; collaborate with teams to improve workflows, enhance scalability, and align with DevOps best practices; support cloud environments, containerization, and configuration management tools while contributing to ongoing process improvements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)



  • CI/CD Pipeline Implementation and Maintenance: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI.
  • Automated Infrastructure Tasks: Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • System Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify bottlenecks, and optimize system performance.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve issues related to application deployments, infrastructure, and system performance.
  • Workflow Improvement and Collaboration: Collaborate with development, operations, and other teams to improve workflows, enhance scalability, and align with DevOps best practices.
  • Cloud Environment Support: Support application deployments and infrastructure management in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Containerization and Configuration Management: Support the use of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Continuous Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and overall DevOps maturity.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices.
  • Experience with various CI/CD tools and platforms.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • 10 Years Experience
  • Ability to gain and retain Top Secret Clearance.


Pay range:$125,000 to $155,000 per year
