Position Description and Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of goods and services.

• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in commodity markets.

• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure the best terms and conditions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.

• Monitor and manage procurement budgets, ensuring compliance with financial targets.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and performance.

• Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of positivity and continuous improvement.

• Multiply possibilities by leveraging innovative procurement strategies and market insights.

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proven experience in strategic procurement, with a focus on indirect procurement or food materials.

• In-depth knowledge of commodity markets.

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

Preferred:

• Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).

• Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
