The Change Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that organizational projects and initiatives meet their objectives on time and within budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This role focuses on the people side of change-preparing, supporting, and equipping individuals to embrace changes in business processes, systems and technologies, job roles, and organizational structures. The Change Manager is responsible for developing and executing change management strategies that drive faster adoption, greater utilization, and increased proficiency with changes that impact employees in their day-to-day work. These efforts directly contribute to improved benefit realization, value creation, and return on investment. Success in this role depends on the ability to work across functions and levels, partnering with a range of stakeholders to embed change management into broader project plans. The Change Manager acts as a coach for people managers and supervisors, equipping them to lead their teams through transitions, while also supporting senior leaders in fulfilling their role as visible and active sponsors of change. They collaborate closely with project teams to integrate change management activities into delivery plans and develop approaches to anticipate, identify, and address resistance from employees and stakeholders. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution to ensure a smooth and effective transition for individuals and teams, ultimately enabling sustainable change and long-term organizational success.
