The Change Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that organizational projects and initiatives meet their objectives on time and within budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This role focuses on the people side of change-preparing, supporting, and equipping individuals to embrace changes in business processes, systems and technologies, job roles, and organizational structures. The Change Manager is responsible for developing and executing change management strategies that drive faster adoption, greater utilization, and increased proficiency with changes that impact employees in their day-to-day work. These efforts directly contribute to improved benefit realization, value creation, and return on investment.

Success in this role depends on the ability to work across functions and levels, partnering with a range of stakeholders to embed change management into broader project plans. The Change Manager acts as a coach for people managers and supervisors, equipping them to lead their teams through transitions, while also supporting senior leaders in fulfilling their role as visible and active sponsors of change. They collaborate closely with project teams to integrate change management activities into delivery plans and develop approaches to anticipate, identify, and address resistance from employees and stakeholders. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution to ensure a smooth and effective transition for individuals and teams, ultimately enabling sustainable change and long-term organizational success.

What You'll Do
  • Apply a structured change management methodology to support adoption of business, technology, and organizational changes.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies and plans.
  • Integrate change management activities into project plans in collaboration with project teams.
  • Design, develop, and manage communication strategies that inform, engage, and mobilize stakeholders.
  • Conduct change impact assessments and stakeholder analyses.
  • Identify and manage resistance, and develop targeted mitigation plans.
  • Support the design and delivery of training programs that build awareness and competency.
  • Evaluate change readiness across teams and functions, identifying gaps and risks.
  • Ensure end-user preparedness and sustained adoption.
  • Serve as a coach and advisor to senior leaders, helping them fulfill key roles in driving change.
  • Provide support and coaching to people managers as they lead their teams through transitions.
  • Create actionable deliverables including Communication Plans, Training Plans, Sponsor Roadmaps, and People Manager Plans.
  • Monitor, track, and report progress against change goals and adoption metrics.
  • Define and measure success indicators and regularly assess impact.
  • Coordinate with other specialists (e.g., HR, Communications, Learning & Development) to align efforts.
  • Contribute to organizational design and role definition activities as needed.
  • Manage a portfolio of change initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
What You'll Need
  • Strong understanding of how people experience change and the psychology behind adoption.
  • Proven experience leading change efforts in complex and dynamic environments
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, Kotter, ADKAR).
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risk, identify gaps, and propose solutions.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to collaborate and lead through influence across a matrixed organization.
  • Experience with project management approaches and lifecycle phases.
  • Change management certification or designation preferred.
Your Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field; or equivalent relevant experience
