We are currently recruiting highly qualified candidates, whose background and career goals meet our needs, for the following position in our Huntsville, AL facility. Please note that due to our Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.

Security Administrator

Nature of Work:

Provide comprehensive security support to the Facility Security Department, including facilitating and maintaining all badging for Sanmina-SCI, managing and maintaining the COMSEC inventory, and controlling classified material and information. Ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:




  • Provide security support to the Facility Security Department.



  • Facilitate and maintain all badging for Sanmina-SCI, including issuing, maintaining, and managing badges for new hires, temporary employees, customers, and government representatives. Brief all new personnel on the badge procedure.



  • Work with the badging program to create, deactivate, maintain, and replace all badges within Sanmina and SCI.



  • Maintain and update various forms and spreadsheets on a daily and monthly basis, keeping track of all active and non-active employee listings.



  • Handle and work with foreign national policies, various permit policies, termination policies, and general security policy and procedures.



  • Able and willing to work with the Facilities office and other security personnel on various projects and tasks.



  • Maintain and manage the COMSEC program, including inventory, accountability, and distribution of COMSEC material in accordance with government regulations (e.g., CNSSI 4000 series).



  • Perform duties as the primary or alternate COMSEC Custodian.



  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and control of classified material and information, adhering to all applicable government directives (e.g., NISPOM).



  • Maintain accurate records of classified material and COMSEC inventory.



  • Conduct periodic self-inspections of the COMSEC and classified material control programs.



  • Ensure all personnel with access to classified material and/or COMSEC material are properly briefed and trained.



  • Knowledgeable of Document Control(s) for classified and unclassified material.



  • Familiar with all security operations including access control processing, visitor control, and coordination for new hire processing.



  • Knowledgeable of diverse computer software programs including Google Suite, Microsoft Office and Badging program software and able to sufficiently and effectively use each program.



  • Must possess organizational skills and effective oral and written communication skills.



  • Possess positive attitude; resourcefulness, perseverance, willingness to meet commitments; flexibility and adaptability to change.



  • Knowledgeable on all badge policies and procedures and able to enforce and educate said policies.



  • Able to balance and manage various tasks and projects at the same time, while still meeting deadlines and doing work to the best of their ability.




Educational Requirements:




  • Minimum of a HS Diploma



  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Department of Defense SECRET security clearance.
