The Risk Analyst Senior position is responsible for leading the design, measurement, tracking and reporting on the aggregated, quantified risk exposures for Operations and Technology.
This role leads self-assessments across Operations and Technology and performs analysis on risk related statistics, risk reports and compliance/audit findings.

This person will,

  • Leads coordination of Operations and Technology Exams and Audits in accordance with the "Regulatory Examination Facilitation" procedures maintained by compliance and ensures that all exam and audit needs are met.

  • Ensures the informational and reporting needs of Operations and Technology Risk Management are completed in a timely manner.

  • Actively participate in the discussion within Operations and Technology of impacts known and unknown to internal risk categories, current and emerging risk issues, and sharing of effective methodologies for managing risk.

  • Assists in the coordination of risk and control self assessments across various departments within Operations and Technology.

  • Implement processes in conjunction with the Operations and Technology Business Line Risk Manager to ensure that root causes of risks are identified, and appropriate action plans created to address issues are developed and implemented.

  • Facilitate risk reviews and analysis for 'Self Identified' risk issues within the Operations and Technology department.

  • Properly researches, identifies, and communicates issues to the appropriate responsible party. Provides gap analysis against best practices and standards.

Requirements
Education

  • Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred

Experience

  • 4-6 years Information Technology, Risk management or related functional industry experience with at least 2 years within the financial services industry. Knowledge of banking industry products and some knowledge of regulatory requirements. Required

  • 5-7 years Risk management experience within the financial services discipline Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • Other CRISC, CISM, or CGEIT within 2 years Preferred
