Air Liquide USA LLC
United States, Texas, Houston
Apr 14, 2025

Air Liquide Large Industries provides our customers with industrial gas and energy solutions that are vital to their own industrial production. We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S. supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining and steel industries. Our pipeline operations and industrial gas production facilities are closely monitored 24/7 within our leading-edge operations control center located in Houston, Texas. Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. We are constantly optimizing our supply network to provide high reliability and energy efficiencies allowing Air Liquide to adjust supply needs more quickly and effectively enabling growth to our customers.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The NAM E2E (End to End) Organization drives optimal operation of the LI NAM asset fleet through a focus on identification of efficiency and reliability improvement opportunities. Within the E2E Organization, the E2E Predict Analyst leverages global tools (e.g., PRiSM, Perform, Optim) to identify, valorize, and drive the mitigation of reliability threats at all facilities within the NAM LI, H2E, and EL fleet. To accomplish this objective, the E2E Analyst collaborates closely with Operations, Maintenance, Energy Management, and Industrial Direction teams including Reliability and CTE. They will leverage industrial gas process knowledge, rotating machinery knowledge, and various data analytics tools to identify, value, and diagnose reliability improvement opportunities.

The E2E Predict Analyst is a member of the E2E Performance team and reports to the Manager, Efficiency Performance. The position is located in Houston, TX.

Subject Matter Expertise

  • Has strong technical knowledge in rotating machinery equipment in ASU, Hydrogen/Syngas, and Cogen/Boiler technologies. Expectation to continue to develop technical awareness, if not independent competencies, in a minimum of two technical areas, with support from other Experts.

  • Program Management experience, including the ability to identify and execute high impact projects, assess impact and align key stakeholders to receive funding with assurance of delivering results for scope defined.

  • Strong understanding of Group KPIs and Metrics for tracking Reliability performance.

Strategy

  • Work effectively with the Group Industrial Direction Organization and other E2E Organizations to share best practices and leverage global support as we continue to use PRISM software to detect reliability opportunities

  • Work in close collaboration with the Industrial Direction Rotating Machinery CTE group to support the implementation of any new monitoring for critical assets and equipment and ensure the initiative matches the organizational needs.

  • Actively participate in a leadership role within either a KNOE WG or WW COP WG.

Monitoring

  • Proactively identify alerts related to SIO.Predict in PRISM or other PI tools; Lead or advise relevant parties to take proper and timely actions to ensure operational reliability.

  • Provide back testing support on major trips to help troubleshoot improvement opportunities for monitoring key elements within the tool

  • Lead or advise relevant parties to take proper and timely actions to address the mechanical constraints related to SIO.Optim (network flexibility)

Predict Tool Maintenance and Continued Strategy

  • Assist in valorizing reliability assists generated by Predict tools.

  • Be the technical leader for E2E /Operations personnel regarding reliability topics that can be addressed by data analytics

  • Assist in the maintenance of KPIs to ensure the utilization and effectiveness of SIO.Predict.

  • Build value/acceptance of Predict applications and tools within Operations, Zone and Plant Management and Operators, through discussion, training and demonstrated success.

  • Continue to develop practical ASU, HYCO and COGEN process experience and understanding of the pipeline network.

  • Ensure proper documentation when executing model deployment; including but not limited to training internal E2E personnel and operations.

  • Foster the relationship with operations teams to ensure buy-in of the programs and be able to extract new opportunities for improvement
