DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Designs, defines, and evolves content strategy frameworks and operational workflows to ensure content is structured, findable, reusable, adaptable across regions and languages, and aligned to business goals and customer needs.
  • Acts as a strategic advisor to content creators and product teams, influencing how content supports broader business, product, and customer service goals.
  • Oversees content governance, including content standards, workflows, and lifecycle policies to ensure consistent, timely, high-quality delivery across all channels.
  • Owns, develops, and evolves structured content models, metadata standards, information architecture, and taxonomy strategies to enable modular authoring, support scalability, localization, and omnichannel delivery.
  • Identifies and drives improvements to content performance through data analysis, customer feedback, usage trends, or process changes, and best practice research.
  • Partners with stakeholders to shape how structured content is leveraged in AI applications, including content tagging, modular delivery, and machine-readability standards.
  • Establishes KPIs and frameworks to track content effectiveness, governance adherence, and workflow health.
  • Collaborates with UX and design systems teams to ensure content patterns align with digital standards, accessibility guidelines, and customer experience best practices.
  • Collaborates with IT and CMS administrators content operations specialists, writers, and platform teams to inform and optimize tool/CMS requirements, publishing workflows, and future platform capabilities.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to other team members to support knowledge sharing and skill development across functions.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:



  • Minimum of eight (8) or more years of related experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with workflow process improvement (identification and solutions).
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and tools.
  • Experience with project management tools a plus (Jira, Redmine).
  • Video Games industry experience a plus.
  • E-commerce experience a plus.
  • Japanese language fluency a plus.
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $114,000 - $205,000 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
