DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will conduct inspections of pharmacies to determine compliance with the laws, rules, and regulations regarding the pharmacy profession. Your responsibilities will include travelling to various sites in a geographical area of the state, conducting physical inspections of pharmacies, gathering evidence in accordance with procedures, and issuing citations when appropriate violations are found. Work involves planning, organizing, and coordinating these activities and conferring with other team members about your processes and progress, as well as operating general equipment including computers, mobile telephone, copiers, scanners, and cameras. Additionally, you will testify at formal and informal hearings and appear as a witness for the State in formal judicial proceedings. You will also provide limited investigative support activities such as obtaining records, executing service of legal documents, and preparing reports of activities. This includes augmenting investigative teams on selected investigations which may include temporary reassignment statewide, as necessary, when directed. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Special Requirements:
- Possession of a license to practice pharmacy as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires you to possess a valid driver's license which is not under suspension.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
