Job Title: AVP & SLC Operations Officer II Department: Specialty Lending Center (SLC) We are looking for AVP & SLC Operations Officer II to join our Specialty Lending Center (SLC) team. The Specialty Lending Center Operations Officer II will be responsible for supporting the operations functions of the SLC department and ensuring efficient loan processing including loan boarding, loan transactions, payments, advances, incoming & outgoing wires, payoffs, and insurance requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct closing functions to ensure loan documentation and funding are handled accurately and efficiently within the department service level agreements.
- Monitor workflow and oversee closing and funding, including credit line advances with accuracy in timely manner.
- Ensure consistent and effective methods of communication are in place to ensure the seamless operation of the team.
- Generate daily warehouse pipeline reports and ensure accuracy of each report assigned.
- Review weekly past due reports to monitor payment performance of each borrower and take appropriate actions for delinquent borrowers.
- Provide quality service to all clients and potential clients of the Bank, as needed and as required for obtaining necessary documents for other departments of the Bank.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in banking and/or lending required.
- Ability to retain broad knowledge of lending tasks.
- Strong analytical skills with a thorough understanding of lending operations and client needs.
- Present a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental, and external representatives.
- Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or client complaints.
- Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, core banking process systems, e-mail and on-line banking programs.
