As a Security Professional - Access Control in Redwood City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

Our team is seeking dedicated professionals to join us in an unarmed patrol role, where you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas. Your presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining a secure environment, with a focus on reliability and innovation. Experience with alarm panels, access control, and badge systems is preferred, along with a valid guard card or license.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• CA Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
