Security Officer - Commercial Patrol

As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol in Greenbelt, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Officer in the commercial real estate location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will be crucial in maintaining a secure environment while providing exceptional customer service. You will engage with individuals on-site, offering assistance and ensuring clear communication. This unarmed position requires a proactive approach to maintaining order and supporting the overall protection of the location.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions at different locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
