Overview
Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Business Analyst PMO. Primary Function: act as a liaison between project/program stakeholders, by understanding business needs, structure, processes, policies and operations. Capture, analyze, and document requirements; and support the communication and delivery of those requirements to the stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Elicit, translate, validate, communicate, negotiate and manage requirements through techniques such as interviews, walk-throughs, surveys, use cases, specifications, and modeling. Maintain documentation relative to these activities.
- Scope a project/program to meet business needs.
- Identify, define and communicate solutions (technical, business process/procedural, etc.) that will maximize the value delivered by an organization or business unit to its stakeholders.
- Act as communication conduit between the stakeholders and the project/program team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, including business leaders, users, project managers, and technical teams to elicit feedback for new or enhanced processes.
- Translate technical and architectural issues so that project/program stakeholders can understand and make effective decisions.
- Contribute to writing user acceptance tests/cases and liaise between testing resources and stakeholders.
- Represent stakeholders on the project/program.
- Identify and model processes, data, and business rules.
- Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

- Responsible for regular and predictable attendance including punctuality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years equivalent experience for each undergraduate year not completed; undergraduate degree cannot substitute for minimum number of years of experience in Business Administration, Information Systems required.
- Business analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, CCBA) required.
- Minimum 2 Years Project management and quality and/or process improvement, preferably within the financial services industry required.
- Minimum 1 Year Business writing skills, including Business Requirements Documents, System Requirements Documents, Use Case Specifications and Functional Specifications required.
