Position Overview

Lead Government software Liaison embedded with BAE, interfaces directly with BAE PM leadership, represents Materiel Leader from BIG SAFARI-WPAFB
- Supports Nashua OL Government Director/Chief Engineer and Materiel Leader at from OPCON perspective
- Supports 645 AESS, Det 1/CC from ADCON perspective
- Leads contractor-vendor efforts in software design, development, and deployment of advanced technical capabilities, specifically with the current continuous/frequent Compass Call Operating System software releases a and future Compass Call Air Platform Software (CCAPS) software releases- Align Air Combat Command (ACC), 55th Electronic Combat Group (ECG), BIG SAFARI and Industry PMs on Outcomes
- Continuously collaborate with all stakeholders; Evolve solutions with Industry developers, testers, production, and installers; Steer team of BIG SAFARI and Industry Chief Engineers and Architects.- Advises the Materiel Leader on vendor progress toward software technical and schedule goal completion and how that effects schedule, cost and performance.
- Understand user needs, new apps, and TTPs
- Coordinate with ACC and ECG to understand training, fielding needs, while balancing security requirements
- Manage release content across RDT&E, Sustainment, Procurement Prioritize work to align with user value, budgets and ensure frequent, on-time software releases.
- Align with PMs to deliver value within budget constraints



Responsibilities

Performs detailed technical evaluations of all vendor proposals in response to government solicitations on behalf of the Government program manager
- Chairs the configuration management board, which determines the scope and nature of work to be completed by the vendor in specified time periods
- Advises the program manager on vendor progress toward technical and schedule goal completion
- Assists Government program manager in authoring statements of work, performance of work statements, bills of material, and other necessary contract documents
- Assists Government program manager in securing funds, outside of the USAF authorization, such as Warfighter Improvement Program and other agency funding.
- Assists contracts officer during all phases of contract: from request for proposal requirement building to performance assessment review to invoice validation.
- Assists finance manager with maintaining Financial Plan, and answering numerous taskers from ACC, Comptroller, etc.
- Perform Technical analysis of software, hardware, and cloud system specifications
- Perform test evaluation of software, hardware, and cloud systems performance capabilities
- Evaluate other contractor technical proposals
- Monitor other contractor progress and report status
- Perform quality assurance evaluations of other contractor products
- Review technical data for completeness and accuracy
- Develop and maintain Integrated Logistics Support Plans
- Assist Air Force project engineers in reviewing systems operational performance
- Travel, as required to attend meetings and briefings in support of government Program Manager
- Support selected hardware and software development and lab integration
- Assist engineering personnel with retrofit integration of sub-systems and capabilities associated with evolutionary acquisition principles



Qualifications

- Top Secret clearance with SCI access

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field required.
- 12 years of experience with operational intelligence systems
- 5 years of experience with requirements development and performance verification activities
- 12 years of experience with program management support activities
- Agile development
- CONOPS development



Global Comp

$125,000- $170,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
