Riverside Medical Clinic is the best place to work, practice medicine, and receive care. Summary: Supervises the Radiology department under supervision of the Director of Imaging. Performs all personnel functions including hiring, evaluations, promotions, transfer requests, disciplinary actions, and scheduling. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Qualifications Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree required. Graduate of an approved AMA School of Radiology Technology. Minimum of 3 years Supervisory experience required in a Radiology Department. Must have knowledge and experience in managing PACS, ultrasound, angiographies, nuclear medicine, computerized tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging. Certificates, Licenses, AND Registration: Current California State License ARRT and CRT License. Membership in the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. For fluoroscopy departments, a current California State License Fluoroscopy is also required. Current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association required. Essential Functions: 1. Supervise and direct daily operation of assigned areas and staff. 2. Implement departmental policies and procedures. 3. Ensure and maintain required documentation for compliance with safety, environmental, infection control and monitor compliance with these standards. 4. Direct the maintenance of departmental facilities, equipment, supplies, and materials. 5. Perform all personnel functions including hiring, evaluations, promotions, disciplinary process, and scheduling. 6. Timecard maintenance and review. 7. Assist in ensuring all equipment is properly licensed per California guidelines. 8. Maintain staff licenses by ensuring all staff [resent copies prior to expiration date per RMC policy. 10. Ensure all employees are properly trained, oriented, and all competencies, certifications, and licensure are all current.
