Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Operations Process Manager to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The Operations Process Manager will be responsible for the safe and supporting efficient operations of the Hummingbird facility. Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to developing Standard Operating Procedures, implementation of technologies, lead LTV and APM programs. This role will work with other departments in efforts to identify improvement opportunities and solutions.

The position is a key leadership role on the Hummingbird management team and will be based at our Phoenix, AZ facility and will report to the Director of Operations for this business segment.

What You Will Do

  • Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with all safety practices in all business initiatives.
  • Completing Risk Assessments for the different Programs.
  • Developing and Implementing new Procedures for the LTV, APM Program
  • Maintaining AKMS Application
  • Developing and Implementing new Standard Operating Procedures
  • Provide coaching, timely feedback and directions to team members
  • Manage activity of vendors, and work with internal GP customers and partners
  • On-site support for Trials, Projects and Upgrades
  • Support guest visits
  • Backup support: production Supervision/Digital Press Workflow/quality.
  • Exhibit strong problem solving, decision making and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role while working in an industrial, manufacturing/production or military environment
  • Previous experience with Digital Print and Workflow
  • Willing and able to work Monday thru Friday, day shift position, however, must be able to work weekends and holidays when needed
  • Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Associate's degree (or higher) in technical or business discipline
  • Previous experience of Plex, Tartan, Plaid and Kronos
  • Corrugated manufacturing products
  • Previous experience HP Digital Printers in a manufacturing plant
