The basics of this position:

The Enrollment Services Counselor II is the point of contact for current and prospective students, providing information and services throughout the enrollment and registration process, including admissions, financial aid, advising, and registration.

What you'll do:



  • Support federal work-study students by guiding them through benefits and related administrative processes. This includes assisting with eligibility questions, documentation, and ensuring compliance with program requirements.
  • Provide guidance to prospective and current students and parents on the admissions, student aid, and enrollment services process
  • Assist students with completing FAFSA and other financial aid applications, including explaining aid options, eligibility, and awards
  • Evaluate credentials on students' applications to determine eligibility for admission, financial assistance, veteran services, or visa documentation
  • Provide exemplary customer service by building knowledge of Enrollment Services policy and procedures
  • Assist with student course selection, creating class schedules, registration, and initial degree audit
  • Serve as the primary counselor for a working caseload of students
  • Utilize systems to assist students in making a seamless transition from admissions to registration
  • Additional duties as assigned


Education, experience, and other requirements:



  • Associate degree in a related field with 3 - 5 years of experience in higher education working in Enrollment Services or Student Affairs
  • NASFAA verification credential within the first year of employment


Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of Banner, CRM, Enrollment Services
