Scrap Yard- Bilingual Night Shift Supervisor

South side scrap yard seeking an evening supervisor. Ideal candidate will have some experience directly supervising in a production environment, will be hands-on when needed to fill in for absences or for training, and will have a mechanical aptitude as the supervisor is the person who helps maintenance troubleshoot equipment at night if there is an issue. They will directly oversee 9-10 production employees, which includes a strong working lead person, 2 equipment operators (1 loader and 1 forklift), 1 maintenance person and multiple sorters and deck persons (who monitor electronic controls within the plant when equipment is running). Our night shift headcount is made up of very tenured and reliable employees - this is not a shift to fix, rather to maintain status quo from the existing supervisor who is transferring to our dayshift role due to a family issue. Hours are Sundays thru Thursdays 6:00pm - 6:30am. They work in conjunction with the day shift supervisor and our facility Manager - there is a regular shift report and overlap meeting to ensure the shifts transition smoothly.
