1st shift Maintenance Tech- Cudahy area

• Assist in performing diversified duties, from installation, troubleshooting, and repairs, to maintenance of production and facility equipment.
• Help predict the productive maintenance needed on equipment to ensure all health and safety guidelines are met.
• Make sure production continues to deliver maximum output at the highest quality.
• Assist on emergency / unscheduled repairs during production.
• Help perform scheduled maintenance repairs on production and facility equipment.
• Diagnose problems, replace and repair parts, and test and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Detect faulty operations and defective materials.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electrical meters, and materials handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Work overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

• Have working knowledge of mechanical and simple electrical
• Be able to lift up to 75lbs (can be with assistance)
• Be able to climb stairs
• Be able to work in extreme temperatures
• Have attention to detail
• Be able to work independently and with others
• Have the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
• Practice ethical conduct and have a good attitude
• Be results driven and take initiative
• Have good verbal and written communication skills
• Have manual dexterity and problem solving skills
• Be in good physical condition
• Have regular and consistent attendance with a willingness to work overtime to complete work, as needed
• Have a high school diploma, or equivalent*

*Trade school training in the maintenance field is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
