Position Summary:

This position reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and is a part of the HR leadership team setting the strategy for the Human Resources organization. As the functional leader of the Learning and Development organization, this position is responsible for building, leading and driving the overall strategies and initiatives across Leadership Development, Coaching, Change Leadership and Instructional Design across the enterprise. We are looking for a leader who:

  • Understands the realities of frontline-driven businesses and can design programs that scale effectively.
  • Has successfully built leadership academies or L&D strategies, balancing curated vs. created content.
  • Knows how to connect the dots between L&D, performance, and business strategy and outcomes.
  • Is adept at gaining executive buy-in, reading the room, and fostering relationships to drive meaningful change.
  • Brings a track record of innovation, incorporating AI, digital, skills taxonomies, and talent analytics.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-based performance driven culture.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Learning and Development Strategy: Analyze and diagnose enterprise-wide leadership learning needs to validate, execute, and sustain a multi-year leadership development roadmap. Ensure close alignment with business and HR strategies and stay informed of industry trends and best practices.
  • Leadership Development Curriculum Build: Design and develop innovative, competency-based learning solutions aligned to the 70/20/10 model. Build programs and solutions to develop all leaders across levels and functions with consistent behaviors and skills. Create differential developmental offerings and experiences for key talent. Select and leverage external vendor partners as needed.
  • Leadership Development Program Execution: Facilitate learning through a variety of modalities. Work with SMEs and external vendor partners as needed. Communicate offerings and manage program participation, including nomination processes. Leverage external partners as needed.
  • Competency Framework: Build and maintain a toolkit to support our new leadership competency model, including individual development planning tools and resources.
  • Internal Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal business and HR teams to develop extraordinary leaders across the enterprise. Engage and influence senior leaders and their teams to build a culture of continuous learning and determine how L&D can help support their needs and initiatives. Collaborate with learning and development team members to ensure consistency in approach and solutions.
  • Assessment and Measurement: Assess leadership proficiency and measure the impact of leadership development programs on capabilities, behaviors, and business outcomes, including correlation to performance management and people planning process outcomes.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field with 15+ years progressive L&D experience in Corporate Learning & Development is required.
  • Prior people leadership experience is required.
  • Direct experience building and leading enterprise-wide leadership and professional development strategies and solutions, as well as influencing cross-functional partners to lead and manage change in a fast-paced, matrixed multi-function organization is required.
  • Experience developing programs from scratch and comfort working with "white space" is required.
  • Comfortable using a variety of learning platforms and methods to best accomplish learning objectives is required.
  • Travel up to 25% in the United States.
  • Vendor management experience, including vendor selection and partnership to ensure best in class content, is needed.
  • Masters in a related field preferred.
  • Food manufacturing or CPG industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience interacting and presenting to C-Suite and Board Members is highly desired.
