Job Duties & Responsibilities:

The overall guiding expectation is that the Logistics Specialist will actively engage with our customer's site leader(s) and full-time field employees to provide key logistical support and ensure that all logistics operations under his or her direction at the plant are striving to achieve excellent performance in the areas of safety, environmental and overall job quality.

• Provides specific direction and logistical support to the operations team
• Focal point for PSC Resources Onboarding schedule and acts as the startup activity coordinator
• Ensures that logistics is aligned on supporting production units and commercial start-up needs
• Continuously communicates with our customers and management to ensure important issues are being addressed
• Ensures proper procedures, training, and certification of all employees to DOT, OSHA, USCG, and customer guidelines
• Works with the Safety & Training coordinator to ensure that training goals and task certifications are accomplished
• Provides coaching and counseling to employees as necessary to ensure on-going development
• Initiates work order notifications for maintenance repairs and alterations to existing equipment
• Works with the customer's permitting process to issue applicable work permits as required
• Coordinates the daily work schedule for maintenance throughout the facility
• Identifies process improvements and efficiencies that will benefit the customer and PSC
• Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.

• Experience in a leadership role involving chemical plant rail or truck loading operations, safety, and training
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to builds trust
• Attentive and active listening skills

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Stable work history with good references from past employers
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus

Physical Requirements:

You must be able to:

• Speak, write, read fluent English. Hear and have good vision.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
• Work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold
• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of PPE
