You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Ceramics Manufacturing Operator in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Richland-Ceramics Business Line in the Fuel Business Unit. In the ceramics product center powder is pressed, sintered, and ground to fabricate fuel pellets. The candidate will learn all aspects of fabrication in the area. You may be required to work around chemicals and radioactive materials and must be able to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. Your work will include:



  • Operating production equipment; responsible for manufacturing and assembly of nuclear products.
  • Follow drawings, guidelines, and/or procedures to ensure product specifications and tolerance are met.
  • Be competent to perform tasks that may impact on health and safety in the workplace.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Works under immediate supervision.

Framatome's Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $24.75 - $25.75 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
