Overview

The Deposit Services Intern provides administrative services to the Deposit Services team by assisting with tasks related to Wires/ACH and item processing.



Responsibilities

    Verify and release Wires within the WITS Wire System (this includes any OFAC and Verafin reviews as well).
  • Verify and download Wires from Business Banking platform and upload into WITS and perform Call-backs to the customers.
  • Verify ACH files and download them into our daily settlement folder. Complete a call-back to the customer as needed.
  • Review PNC Statement for Incoming Wires and enter information into the required fields within the WITS system.
  • Review and process ACH & Inclearing load error exceptions. Responsible for pulling daily load error reports and processing them within the DNA core system.
  • Process International ACH transactions within our DNA core system. Responsible for loading each ACH International transaction and pulling the International ACH transaction reporting to track the total of transactions.
  • Review and process Returned Deposited items. Pull Return items from the Fed portal and process the chargeback to customer's accounts within the DNA core system. Mail all daily letters that are generated.
  • Process ACH returns by debiting or crediting customers account and offset to GL. Send out all notifications to either the branch or Cash Management teams. Process all NOC's by reaching out to branch to notify the customer what changes they will need to make.
  • Process all customer adjustments from the Fed portal or branch notifies Item Processing of an encoding error. Complete adjustment form and open case with Fiserv.
  • Process claims for unauthorized any ACH & Inclearing(Check) transactions within the Centrix claim system and complete the process of return within the DNA core system. Mail all generated letters at end of the day.
  • Complete other tasks and projects as assigned


Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Currently enrolled in Business related degree program preferred
  • Previous work experience preferred

Skills and Competencies

  • Highly developed interpersonal and professional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficiency in all programs in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multi-task and remain organized
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail
