As a Security Professional - Headquarters Patrol in Bethesda, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more .

In a prestigious hotel and resort setting, our Security Officers are tasked with monitoring designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine checks and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Engaging with guests and staff, you will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. This role values agility, reliability, and innovation, requiring a caring approach that prioritizes people. Teamwork and integrity are at the core of our operations, fostering a collaborative and trustworthy work environment.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
