The Team:
The Ecommerce Marketing & Analytics Team works across channels-from CRM to paid media, influencer, and affiliate marketing-to drive awareness, traffic, and retention for our adult collector business. This sharp, collaborative team knows how to mix strategy with creativity, turning insights into campaigns that truly connect with fans.
The Opportunity:
Mattel's direct-to-consumer business has an ambitious growth agenda and is on the journey to scaling into a global organization.
As a Digital Marketing Associate within the Ecommerce & DTC organization, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the rapid expansion of our affiliate and influencer marketing programs for the Mattel Creations adult collector business. In addition, you will support various other performance marketing initiatives, including digital advertising and social commerce. As a voice of the team, you will understand and confidently communicate best practices and key learnings to both internal and external partners. You must be data-driven and consumer-obsessed in your approach to work.
You will work closely with the Performance Marketing Manager and our agency partner to support the Digital Merchandising, Creative, Global Brand, and National Account teams in delivering campaigns that meet business objectives.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Support the growth of our affiliate network via proactive outreach, as well as coordination with internal brand and influencer teams to onboard existing creator-partners and external collaborators
- Work with internal teams and agency partners to ensure the timely development and hand-off of creative assets to support paid campaign efforts
- Support creative and marketing plan approvals via the creation of digital "approval packages" with licensors / external partners
- Coordinate the fulfillment of product samples to agency partners and content creators for creative development purposes
- Collaborate with Integrated Marketing Manager and others to manage campaign calendars and ensure all stakeholders are updated with changes in a timely manner
- Manage Social Commerce Catalog Feeds, including Meta Commerce, Reddit Catalog Ads, etc.
- Own the creation of UTM links, QR codes and short links for internal and external partners
What We're Looking For:
- 2-3 years' experience in a related role
- Data analysis: Ability to analyze and interpret marketing data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Digital advertising platforms: Familiarity with various digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Reddit Ads Manager, etc. to create and manage targeted campaigns
- Familiarity with Google Merchant Center
- Proficiency with Shopify - navigate the backend, ability to generate and modify reports, manage discount codes, etc.
- Experience with affiliate marketing is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across a variety of teams
- Creative thinker and skilled problem-solver
- High attention to detail
The annual base salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $90,000.
