Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Examine alignment of parts and measure parts for conformance to specified dimensions utilizing measuring and testing equipment (i.e., ID/OD Micrometers, Height Stands, Calipers)

Performing Incoming, In-Process, and Final Inspection activities may include some or all of the following:

Manual drafting to document dimensional requirements and features as found.

Assure assembly of final product with parts list to detect missing hardware.

Visually examine parts as applicable to work assignment.

Verify location of bolt and rivet holes, as applicable to work assignment.

Verify and record production documentation to ensure that all assembly, inspection, and test steps were performed according to specifications.

Verifies all quality aspects are performed in accordance with the Quality Management System Procedures, Work Instructions, forms, and Customer Specific Requirements.

Required Competencies:

Working knowledge of manual inspection tools required (i.e., ID/OD Micrometers, Height Stands, Calipers). Basic knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing Drawings / Blueprints required.

Candidate must be able to quickly adapt to their new working environment and be accepting of the training and support provided by peers and management. We are seeking an individual that, once properly trained, can excel working both independently and as part of the greater Quality Team.
