Hourly Pay Range:

$43.69 - $67.72 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: RN Hose Operations
  • Location: LOH Naperville
  • Per Diem
  • Hours: 7p-7a

A Brief Overview :

Responsible for the operations of the hospital during days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays in collaboration with the LOH Administrator on call. Ensures the safe and efficient delivery of patient care by monitoring hospital census, patient acuity and staffing patterns. Ensures the availability of staff and other resources necessary for efficient patient care. Assists with the triaging and admission of patients from referring institutions. Manages complex patient concerns and complaints. Communicates with hospital managers to ensure the appropriate follow up and resolution of identified issues.

What you will need:

Education, Experience and/or Skills Required:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree or higher
  • Minimum of three years of management/supervisory experience or a minimum of five years psychiatric nursing care experience or a combination of five years of experience management/supervisory and psychiatric nursing care experience
  • Knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses
  • Prior experience with management of patients with psychiatric conditions
  • Prior experience with the use of psychotropic medications within all age groups
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention skills and treatment procedures

License/Certification Required:

  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
  • Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within 90 days of hire

License/Certification Preferred:

  • Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (ANCC) or other relevant certifications
