Job Summary

As the Manager, Media Strategy and Performance at Optimum, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and driving media strategies to ensure impactful performance across various advertising channels. You will leverage your expertise in ad campaign reporting in order to draw actionable insights that align with our business objectives. This position requires a keen understanding of key digital media channels, including display, online video (OLV), paid search, and social media, and the ability to translate data into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations. This role also requires a balance of technical and strategic tasks while emphasizing storytelling and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Ad Campaign Reporting & Performance Analysis: Lead the analysis of advertising campaign performance across digital channels, providing in-depth insights into campaign effectiveness and ROI. You will be responsible for extracting actionable insights from reporting data to guide future media strategies and improve overall media spend efficiency.

Cross-Channel Strategy & Optimization: Collaborate with internal teams to develop integrated media and creative messaging strategies that leverage a mix of digital media channels, including display, OLV, paid search, and paid social. Continuously optimize strategies based on performance data and insights.

Insight Development & Data-Driven Storytelling: Use your strong analytical skills to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights. Visualize and develop compelling narratives that communicate the impact of media strategies, ensuring stakeholders understand the value of media investments. Provide recommendations for creative optimizations and adjustments to drive improved performance.

Reporting & Presentation: Prepare regular performance reports and strategic presentations, to summarize findings and present data-driven recommendations. Provide both quantitative and qualitative insights that inform broader business decisions.

Creative Performance Insights: Continuously track and evaluate top-performing creative assets, identifying what resonates most with target audiences. Provide insights into creative

effectiveness, highlighting trends in formats, messaging, and design that drive higher engagement and performance.

Forecasting Paid Media Performance by Channel: Work closely with media agencies and external media partners to properly forecast, project goals, and align on key performance metrics. Ensure projections are based on current performance and run rate, adjusting for seasonality, market conditions, and business changes. Facilitate ongoing communication to refine forecasts as needed and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

* 6-8 years of experience in media strategy, digital marketing, or performance analytics, with a strong emphasis on digital media channels (display, OLV, paid search, paid social).

* Demonstrated Expertise in data analysis, with a proven ability to generate actionable insights from campaign data and reporting.

* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex data manipulation, pivot tables, and formulas.

* Strong experience creating visually engaging PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate insights and strategies to key stakeholders.

* Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for non-technical stakeholders.

* Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* A strong understanding of digital media trends and performance metrics, as well as a passion for optimizing media investments.

* Experience working in the telecommunications or similar industry is a plus.

* Knowledge of creative optimization and its role in media performance.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $123,379.00-$202,694.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
