Role Description
As an intern reporting to the Chief of Staff to the Chief People Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the strategy and operational rhythms of Dropbox's People team. Your responsibilities will improve your generalist skillset, including operating rhythm management (All Hands, budget, OKR setting and tracking), event coordination and planning, tracking and change management related to 2025 People team strategy, and research on trends, benchmarking, and best practices to help inform 2026 planning. As part of the People team, you will collaborate with subteams across the People team and key cross functional partners in finance, communications, and the Office of the CEO. Through this internship opportunity, you will gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of HR strategy and operations within a global tech company.

Responsibilities
- Team Operations & Communication: Support the coordination of key People team activities, including All Hands meetings, budget tracking, and goal-setting processes (OKRs).
- Growth & Development Initiatives: Assist in shaping and implementing a strategy to expand the team's skills, with a focus on building well-rounded HR generalists.
- Bringing a Product Mindset to HR: Help introduce product management and design thinking principles to improve how the People team drives change and communicates effectively.
- Tracking 2025 Priorities: Contribute to quarterly reviews and strategic planning efforts to keep the 2025 roadmap on track.
- Looking Ahead to 2026: Conduct research on HR trends, industry benchmarks, and best practices to inform future planning.
Requirements
- Education: Currently pursuing a master's degree in Human Capital Management, Organizational Development, Social Sciences (e.g., Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Political Science, Public Policy), Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, with an expected graduation in Winter 2025 or Spring 2026.
- Passion for People & Strategy: Interested in strategy, operations, and the evolving role of HR.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Clear Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage diverse audiences.
