Main Duties & Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:
The Supply Chain Lead's primary responsibility is to
lead and coordinate the following operational areas: component stockroom,
outside processing, material receiving/shipping, and tool crib. This role will
be working directly with all departments to support daily operations,

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:
Responsible for training and leading staff in assigned
operational areas.
Responsible for the daily output of assigned operational
areas in support of production.
Lead with production planning to ensure production jobs are
kitted and delivered to production on time according to the production schedule
and priorities.
Responsible for reporting data for the Gemba board,
ensuring the board is up to date daily. Lead filling of shortages and hot jobs, expedite as
necessary. Ensure the team completes daily cycle counts and
investigates discrepancies. Ensure that all invent01Y transactions are processed
accurately in a timely manner. Lead with production planning on rejected materials, MDRs,
returns to vendor, scrap. Communicate with purchasing to resolve PO discrepancies and
report all receiving errors. Responsible for communicating priorities and following up
on action items with the team. Monitor tool crib activity throughout the day and notify
the Director of any issues. Evaluate the team's daily/weekly workload and coordinate
overtime needs with manager.
Leads team to complete assignments using established
guidelines, procedures and policies. Develop and share ideas to increase efficiency and reduce
operational costs. Implement and maintain effective stockroom/work area
organization, 5S Lean concepts. Lead is expected to work with the team, picking orders,
cycle counting, receiving, shipping, weighing, counting, tool crib and any
other activities needed to fulfill the production plan

They pay scale for this position ranges from $24.00 to- $29.08 hourly
