The rate offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Hourly Rate:

$23 - $27/hr.

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and talented Embedded Cybersecurity Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting field of embedded systems security. The ideal candidate will be a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student with a passion for cybersecurity and a strong technical foundation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting threat analysis and vulnerability assessments of embedded systems.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of security measures for embedded devices.

  • Support the testing and validation of security features and protocols.

  • Contribute to the research and development of innovative security solutions for embedded systems.

  • Document findings, procedures, and best practices.

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve security issues.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming.

  • Working knowledge of the Linux operating system.

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat analysis.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with STRIDE and CVSS.

  • Experience with embedded systems development.

  • Familiarity with security testing tools and techniques.

  • Knowledge of network protocols and security concepts.

  • Proficiency in Additional Languages (Python, Java, C# etc)
