  • Estimated annual base pay: $91,440(minimum) - $114,300(midpoint) - $137,160(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Continuous Improvement Specialist II, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The OPEX Continuous Improvement Specialist II is responsible for identifying, implementing, and sustaining materials process improvements focused on implementing lean methodologies within logistics operations, master scheduling and production planning functions through transactional efficiency and improving overall supply chain performance.

This role involves analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and deploying strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality. The Specialist works closely with cross-functional teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement and ensure alignment with the organization's operational excellence goals.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis to address recurring issues and recommend sustainable solutions.
  • Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project plans, set milestones, and track progress to ensure timely delivery of improvements.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops on Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence tools and methodologies.
  • Mentor and coach employees to build a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to leadership on project progress and outcomes.
  • Use data analytics to evaluate the impact of improvements and identify further opportunities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain, finance, and IT, to implement process improvements.
  • Serve as a change agent, driving employee engagement and fostering a mindset of innovation and efficiency.
  • Act as a liaison between leadership and operational teams to ensure alignment on improvement objectives.
  • Support the development and execution of the organization's operational excellence strategy.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in continuous improvement.
  • Recommend tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and workflow optimization.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Minitab).
