This engaging position involves providing development and operational planning, managing program initiatives, evaluating outcomes, coordinating projects, and offering technical assistance. The Student Services Analyst Senior will be responsible for assigning tasks, overseeing project progress, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and meet the highest standards of quality. A strong focus on problem resolution and continuous improvement makes this role essential to the department's success in delivering impactful services. Essential Functions 45% - Position manages multiple projects simultaneously: following project management strategies/best practices/standards; organizes and plans project tasks and schedules; facilitates and encourages collaboration across stakeholder groups; aligns projects to business priorities, goals, and strategies; optimizes project deliverables, schedules, and in some cases budgets; ensures all deadlines are met; strong attention to detail; and maintains the highest level of project support and confidentiality.. 20% - Regular contact with a variety of levels of management, staff, and stakeholders with specialized knowledge of supporting student services projects; communicates with internal and external resources regarding policy/procedural, event, or program information; receives and responds to inquiries and information requests, resolving issues or referring requests to an appropriate resource. 10% - Coordinates the initiation and completion of the procurement process by submitting purchase order details for requests, contract creation, submissions, and tracking, monitoring fiscal process to keep interested parties aware, and maintaining records and files for all fiscal-related items. 10% - Researches, gathers, compiles, and reviews data and information in support of assigned projects/programs; assists with research, gathers information, and provides coordination of activities and coordination support of projects/programs; conducts assessments, surveys, focus groups, and analysis; composes, modifies, and formats complex documents including correspondence, presentations, and reports; Creates other documents and communication materials. 10% - Supports the maintenance of files, records, database information, and documentation related to assigned areas and according to established procedures via paper and electronic methods. 5% Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, sociology, business administration, project management, or related field, and four (4) years of progressively responsible project management, student services experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above, sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job, such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Special Working Conditions Requires reaching, standing, walking, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. This position may travel to a variety of locations on and off campus as needed to conduct District or College business. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects including the human body. Work is routinely performed in an indoor office environment. Virtual/Hybrid Working: This position is afforded to work virtually, hybrid environment, and in the office. The role will work out a schedule with the supervisor, but may not be able to be fully remote, depending on projects and needs of the business unit. Office laptop, keyboard, mouse, and 2 monitors are provided with docking stations to be able to work in the office and remotely. Remote work requires a dedicated workspace with few distractions and interruptions.
