We are currently seeking a Wash Bay Technician to join our Boart Longyear team in Elko, Nevada. This individual will be responsible for providing support to the Maintenance and Operations groups. Responsibilities Utilize high pressure washing equipment and hotsy systems. Utilize a variety of cleaning solvents, liquids, tools, and techniques effectively. Maintain cleanliness of company equipment - Washing of exteriors, including underbodies and cab. Basic knowledge of drilling and mining equipment. Basic understanding of preventative maintenance Ability to drive a manual transmission. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions. Ensure proper use of designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to work safely. Adhering to all applicable safety policies and complying with all company policies, standards, and procedures. Ability to clearly communicate with Maintenance Supervisor and mechanics the progress of assigned tasks. Ability to work within and promote company vision and values. Ability to work with little to no supervision, effective time management and ability to stay on task. Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with Maintenance Supervisor, Mechanics, and Operation Teams.
