Your Opportunity:Taylor Corporation is seeking a Supervisor of Maintenance who is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and facilities are maintained in optimal working conditions. This role involves coordinating maintenance activities, managing staff, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities, prioritizing tasks based on operational needs
  • Coordinates with county and municipal officials to prepare reports for required environmental regulations (wastewater, air emissions, etc.)
  • Oversee the diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, ensuring timely resolution of problems to minimize downtime
  • Assist in the development and management of the maintenance budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions for the maintenance team
  • Monitor and manage maintenance inventory, including tools, spare parts, and supplies, to ensure availability and cost-effectiveness
  • Work closely with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities, support production schedules, and address facility needs
  • Collaborates with production leadership to determine preventative maintenance training gaps among production personnel
  • Provides training to production personnel as necessary
  • Performs maintenance tasks as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and compliance with regulations, preparing reports for management as needed

You Must Have:

  • Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. May be required to meet certain certifications in field
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Primarily in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with exposure to noise and varying temperatures
  • May require standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $70,000 - $95,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employee.
