We are seeking a Technical Resource Engineer for our customer, County Materials in Oconomowoc, WI. Military service members and veterans are encouraged to apply. Job Duties:
- Present project-specific solutions to consulting engineering clients and customers
- Responsible for promoting new and existing concrete pipe products to engineers, end users and internal employees to grow the territory business.
- Work closely with DOT's and Local Municipalities/Public Works on improving specifications for storm drain infrastructure
- Manage relationship with industry organizations, including ACPA, or state CPA
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and deliver customer solutions.
- Serve as the liaison between the engineer, sales and operations group.
- Responsible for the market development and education of the material specifying process.
- Responsible for the introduction of new products.
- Conduct Lunch and Learn seminars for consulting engineering firms in the region.
- Identifying and attending trade shows, association meetings, concrete pipe schools and other industry events in the designated territory.
- Performs special projects or assignments as directed.
Work Environment:
- Office working environment.
- Travel 50% or more
- Hybrid position (This means a combination of working at a County Materials location and remote work. The person must maintain and share their County Materials Outlook calendar, which displays their work location and activities for the next 30 days. The individual must be responsive and proficiently complete work on time in an organized manner.)
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting frequently.
- Carrying/Lifting 10 - 45 Pounds rarely.
- Standing / Walking / Climbing.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field;PE (Professional Engineer) license is desired
- 2-5 years of experience in the concrete industry or a related field is desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven track record in technical support and customer engagement.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required.
