We are looking for an individual who is passionate about Westlaw and the value it provides to legal professionals. The Westlaw SWAT Associate is responsible for articulating the value of Westlaw for both internal and external audiences. The SWAT Associate is expected to analyze and synthesize legal information from Westlaw and internal data sources, work closely with business partners, and create compelling presentations and other materials for high value and strategically significant accounts. The SWAT Associate is also responsible for coaching and creating resources for sales and client executives to convey the value of Westlaw most effectively. Proficiency at legal research, presentation building and delivery, coaching skills, and critical thinking and analysis important to this position. We welcome enthusiasm, creativity and camaraderie! About the Role: * Conducting significant core legal research in various topics and making that research relevant to specific practice areas and to specific customers * Assessing, analyzing and interpreting legal content with appropriate guidance * Assessing, analyzing, and interpreting customer usage data and being able to apply this to relevant value propositions with appropriate guidance * Positioning Westlaw value propositions to all segments, demonstrating a high level of knowledge and experience * Collaborating with team members and internal stakeholders to better leverage key legal research information * Creating highly targeted presentations in PowerPoint * Delivering presentations which anticipate customer needs both internally and externally * Performing qualitative assessment of genAI and LLM output We are the leading source of intelligent information for the world's businesses and professionals, providing customers with competitive advantage. About You: * JD degree required * Admission to a state bar strongly preferred * 2+ years of legal experience * Mastery of legal research skills with experience using Westlaw * Demonstrated ability to understand the market for Westlaw * Strong ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and express complex legal material quickly and accurately * Demonstrated ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a very quickly changing environment * Strong experience in working very effectively in a team environment * Ability to work independently, consistently meet deadlines, and achieve individual objectives within larger team projects * Strong oral and written communication skills * Strong overall presentation skills * Strong computer skills including applications such as the Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint #LI-GK1 What's in it For You?
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $70,000 - $130,000. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
