Who You Are... As Director of Talent Development, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive talent development programs that align with organizational goals. This role focuses on cultivating a high-performing workforce by developing leadership capabilities, enhancing employee skills, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. The Director incumbent will partner with senior leadership to identify talent gaps as well as create and drive initiatives that support employee growth and organizational effectiveness. This Position... Some examples of the work you might do includes:
- Serves as a strategic partner to the business by translating talent gaps and opportunities to learning and talent solutions.
- Identifies and implements solutions to create a sustainable talent pipeline for the company.
- Leads the Company in the design, development, and implementation of interactive courses and learning programs to educate staff on critical Company skills and processes, as defined per The Limbach Way.
- Constantly considers new, innovative approaches to take our programs, learning solutions and talent strategies to the next level, leveraging best practices and external thinking.
- Makes educated recommendations on internal/external resources and best delivery method (instructor lead, self-instructed, train-the-trainer, on demand/computer-based) for each program.
- Ensures all content is consistent with, and supports, the overall brand and identity of the Company.
- Works closely with key corporate and branch stakeholders to develop talent interventions designed to support employee growth and development.
- Prepares and submits updates for learning, development, culture publications, and rankings.
- Oversees all external learning and talent-related vendor relationships, and evaluates efficacy level on a regular schedule.
- Oversees all associated learning processes, including enrollment, tracking/recording, certification, and logistics.
- Develops innovative ways to regularly measure, analyze, deliver, and share training and performance initiatives through multi-channel delivery mechanisms.
- Conducts ongoing needs analyses with key internal stakeholders to identify talent gaps and opportunities.
- Maintains a public scorecard to assist with evaluating key department metrics.
- Creates and implements measures to evaluate initiatives, determine if objectives are being met, and/or alter current programs to ensure best-in-class development of employees.
- Leads and fosters the growth and high performance of the Talent Development Department.
- Serves as an integral member of the People, Culture and Marketing Leadership team.
What You Need...
- Bachelor's Degree in Education/Adult Education, Communications, HR, or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant business experience
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership position that required training and/or coaching others.
- Ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and in writing) with diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership and relationship management skills.
- Ability to produce meaningful/quantifiable results under limited supervision.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a driving record compliant with the Company's policies and MVR requirements, and consent to ongoing driving record monitoring by the Company.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong accountability, drive for results and ownership.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and leveraging input from diverse stakeholders.
- History of leveraging innovative approaches to drive results, leading with urgency and passion.
- Ability to leverage strong business acumen to translate talent strategies into business outcomes.
- Prior ownership of talent-related strategies such as development programs, succession planning, competency models and engagement.
- Ability to navigate multiple priorities, lead change and move with agility to support the business' priorities.
- Expertise in course and program design, leveraging adult learning principles.
- Working knowledge of UKG.

- This position operates primarily in an office environment, and routinely utilizes standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets.
