Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research & Policy Analyst to support a senior executive involved in a range of professional, academic, and advisory roles. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate with strong writing, research, and organizational skills, and a passion for national security, public policy, and government reform.

What You'll Do:

Research & Policy Support

  • Monitor and summarize congressional hearings, especially nomination hearings, for dissemination to clients and stakeholders
  • Draft and prepare client communications, including policy-focused emails
  • Conduct policy research and assist in drafting questions for congressional nominees
  • Create briefing materials, point papers, and background documents for media appearances, speaking engagements, and other events
  • Update and develop policy documents in support of national security and government reform initiatives

Communications & Media

  • Track news, policy developments, and legislative actions to inform timely communication strategies
  • Assist in drafting and editing content for social media and digital platforms, with a focus on national security and related topics

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Perform routine administrative tasks, including document organization, copying, electronic and in-person distribution of materials, and system maintenance
  • Maintain and update contact databases
  • Organize and manage files within Box.com
  • Support day-to-day operations and client-facing activities
  • Provide administrative and research assistance related to college course instruction
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Political Science, Public Policy, International Affairs, or a related field
  • Exceptional research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for clarity and precision
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable navigating a variety of digital communication and collaboration platforms
  • Genuine interest in national security, public policy, defense, and government reform initiatives
