Key Responsibilities
  • Data Integrity: Maintain accurate data within our Inventory Management System.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure all items in the warehouse are properly received, stored, and accounted for.
  • Material Ordering: Order and expedite materials for Inventory Requests from Lab Service Engineers and Product Engineers.
  • Dashboard Monitoring: Monitor the Inventory Dashboard for new requests, pick and stage materials for pickup.
  • Organization: Keep the inventory room clean and organized.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize inventory variances and enhance inventory accuracy.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
  • Audits: Conduct annual audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Record Maintenance: Ensure inventory balances are accurately maintained in both internal and external systems.
  • Process Issues: Resolve issues related to material management, warehousing, and control.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with Quality, Supply, Distribution, and Logistics teams to ensure adherence to inventory control practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Assist in initiatives aimed at improving inventory processes.
  • Material Handling: Execute procedures for receipt issues and material transfers, notify stakeholders upon receipt of project materials.
  • System Improvements: Investigate and implement improvements to the warehouse inventory system to enhance business performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Disposition: Manage parts returned by Lab Service Engineers, including RTS, scrap, cleaning, NCi, RMA, and offsite storage.
  • Reconciliation: Address miss-shipments with buyers or suppliers, coordinate RMA and NCi requests for defective/damaged parts.
  • Backup Support: Provide support to the Wafer Cage Team, including pulling reservation orders, staging for pickup, reclaiming wafers, safeguarding intellectual property, receiving deliveries, and performing audits.
  • Lab Environment: Occasionally work in a lab environment, including wearing lab suits for wafer reclaims and other duties.
  • Project Assistance: Participate in various projects such as 5S implementation, material purging, and inventory audits.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as directed.
Hours: 1pm - 9pm / Sunday - Thursday
Training: training M -F, 5/8s. 2pm start
Pay rate: $28 - $31/hr
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with automated stocking and sorting.
    • Experience: Familiarity with VLMs (Vertical Lift Modules) from Kardex or Snap-on is highly preferred.
    • Skills: Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, excellent follow-through, and quick learning ability.
    • Innovation: Ability to think creatively and work well in a team environment.
    • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer and mathematical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and experience with SAP preferred.
    • Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk and bend for long periods, type at least 50 wpm, and proficient at 10-key.
