Position Overview The Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships will be instrumental in driving revenue growth through the development and management of strategic partnerships. This role is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and closing partnership opportunities that align with our business objectives and drive mutual value for all parties involved. The Senior Director will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute partnership strategies and ensure the successful implementation and execution of partnership initiatives.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership sales strategy aligned with the company's overall growth objectives. Identify key partnership opportunities/prospects, market trends, and emerging technologies to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with leading companies, organizations, and industry influencers. Build relationships with potential partners, assess partnership opportunities, and negotiate partnership agreements that drive mutual value and align with our business goals. Work closely with the sales team to leverage partnerships and drive revenue growth. Develop sales collateral, presentations, and other materials to support partnership sales efforts. Provide training and enablement to sales teams to effectively sell partnership offerings and drive revenue. Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment on key initiatives and objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and operations, to ensure successful partnership execution and delivery. Drive revenue growth through partnership sales initiatives, including partner-led sales, co-selling, and joint marketing efforts. Develop and execute sales plans, forecast revenue projections, and track performance metrics to achieve sales targets and objectives. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive developments, and market dynamics to identify new partnership opportunities and drive strategic decision-making. Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on emerging trends and opportunities in the partnership landscape. Establish clear performance metrics and KPIs for partnership sales initiatives. Monitor performance, track progress against goals, and take proactive measures to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring to Zelis
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Proven track record of success in partnership sales or business development roles, preferably within the [industry/sector] space. Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated ability to negotiate and close complex partnership agreements. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders at all levels. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies. Leadership experience with a proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Ability to travel as needed to meet with partners, attend industry events, and support partnership sales activities.
