IT Infrastructure Services Lead

Florida Crystals is a leading domestic sugar producer and North America's first fully integrated cane sugar company, guiding our sugar from farm to table. We are America's first and only producer of certified organic sugar, grown and harvested in the United States. Our renewable energy facility is the largest of its kind in North America and provides clean energy that powers our sugar operations, which helps us reduce our use of fossil fuels. Florida Crystals also sustainably farms rice, sweet corn and other vegetables in rotation with our sugarcane. Our rice mill is the only rice mill in Florida.

OVERVIEW

As the IT Infrastructure Services Lead your primary role will be:

To lead our IT infrastructure initiatives. This role will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and performance of outsourced infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading remote teams, building strong partnerships to get results along with having a solid infrastructure technologies and vendor management background. Scope geographically includes all company locations globally. DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead overall infrastructure services delivery including cloud, collaboration, end user compute, hosting, network & telecom to support business objectives.
• Manage the Infrastructure budget process, planning, forecasting and providing cost effective solutions.
• Build strong partnerships to get alignment on strategies, solving common problems and global resource planning.
• Lead the delivery of scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure solutions.
• Ensure successful transition of infrastructure solutions to support by outsourced provider.
• Oversee the performance and delivery of outsourced infrastructure services, ensuring alignment with SLAs and business requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity.
• Lead a team of infrastructure Services Leads in cloud, hosting, network & telecom, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Manage infrastructure and communications purchase orders, invoices and payments.
• Responsible for technical aspects of infrastructure and communication delivery including:

  • Problem determination, escalation and resolution
  • Performance, capacity tuning, and system sizing
  • Analytics for utilization, billing and internal chargebacks
  
  
  
  

WORK EXPERIENCES

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fiel preferred; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure architecture and management.
• Proven experience in managing outsourced infrastructure services.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and other modern infrastructure technologies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, PMP) are a plus.
