Summary:

Cook Childrens offers a secretary pool to help our administrative and non-clinical offices with projects and temporary coverage. As a Cook Childrens Senior Secretary, you would provide office administration services such as answering phones, data entry, Microsoft Office, and meeting scheduling assistance. Cook Childrens is looking for a Senior Secretary who is able to work in a variety of situations and departments, on an as needed basis. To be a successful candidate for this role, you need to be a quick learner who is comfortable working on a computer, have great customer service skills, and is flexible. Your assignments can range from working the front desk of our executive offices to helping organize awards for our employee awards dinner. Our Senior Secretaries get to support Cook Childrens Mission by providing help to the departments who support our patients behind the scenes.
Education:
High school diploma, or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.Human Resources experience a plus.Three years of office management, secretary/administrative, or Human Resources experience, in an office setting. Computer, Microsoft Office and Outlook skills a must. Must be comfortable working in Excel, Outlook, and Word.Ability to learn quickly. Great customer service and communication skills. Ability to make appropriate job decisions while following process and procedures.Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
