Title: Finance Manager Location: Farmingville, NY Salary: $120k-150k base Distribution company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to oversee our financial activities and provide strategic financial guidance to our executive team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in our continued growth and success. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and review accurate financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, etc.). Support the accounting team with month-end close processes, including accruals, expense analysis, and sales analysis. Assist in the timely reporting of monthly financial results to the corporate accounting team. Maintain meticulous financial records. Collaborate effectively with the corporate finance team on various projects. Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and reporting standards. Financial Planning and Analysis: Generate insightful monthly and ad-hoc financial reports. Develop and implement strategic financial plans and initiatives. Analyze financial data to identify key trends, potential risks, and growth opportunities. Conduct robust financial modeling and analysis to support decision-making. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, manage, and monitor budgets for various departments and projects. Analyze actual financial performance against budget, identifying and explaining variances. Prepare accurate financial forecasts to anticipate future business changes and needs. Team Leadership and Support: Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to finance and accounting team members. Ensure the efficient and accurate completion of all finance-related tasks. Strategic Financial Guidance: Offer valuable financial insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team. Support strategic decision-making through comprehensive financial analysis and data provision. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure financial alignment with overall business objectives. Qualifications: 3-5 of progressive experience in finance, with demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information effectively. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
