Primary Objective of Position:Responsible for aligning business objectives with team members and management. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and team members that reflects the business objectives of the business.Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Culture awareness and support to maintain
  • Consults with assigned business leaders, providing HR guidance as needed
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
  • Manages and resolves employee relations issues
  • Encourage and support a positive team member experience/engagement
  • Talent acquisition facilitation and alignment - find and attracting talent
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Encourages and promotes process for new hires, promotions and transfers
  • Provides guidance and input on workforce planning and succession planning
  • Identifies and promotes training and development needs for team members
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training and development programs to ensure success
  • Communicate new and changing initiatives in the business
  • Provide change management guidance when necessary
  • Support engagement activities and communications
  • Assist Admin and Communications Director as needed
  • Other HR related projects and priorities as needed

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field (preferred)
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred
  • Prior experience working in constructionindustry (strongly preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • At least 3 years' experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Experience working with leaders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement processes or best practices in HR
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office - ability to create/manipulate documents using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
