*Description*
Job Description Duties and Responsibilities: * Manage the end-to-end on-boarding process for applications into the DevOps practices * Help develop and maintain scripts to automate existing manual build & deployment procedures, including platform and infrastructure automation. * Execute application software build & deployments supporting all DevOps onboarded applications * Support enterprise/monthly releases, tools administration and automation * Conduct operational audit to ensure compliance with established change management standards and identify areas of improvement * Develop and implement strategic improvements to optimize CI/CD processes focusing on early problem identification resolution (ship lift) * Align the practices/tools with industry best practices, enhance the effectiveness of the development lifecycle * Collaborate with the cross-functioning teams to effective integration with the overall SDLC process * Create and maintain documentation related to risk controls and audit outcomes * Ensure continues improvement through automation, monitoring, and analysis of pipeline * Provide mentorship, and guidance to team members on the principles and best practices * Familiarity with Agile development practice Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field * 5+ years of experience in DevOps, application deployment, or related roles. * 5+ years of Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, UrbanCode) * 3+ years of Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container platform (OpenShift) * Experience with application build tools such as Docker, Podman, NPM, NodeJS, MSBuild, Maven * Strong understanding of cloud platforms and Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools * Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Maven, Terraform, PowerShell) * Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance within a DevOps environment * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams Preferred Qualifications: * Master's degree in a relevant field. * Experience with the mobile build and deployment process for both iOS and Android based application * Knowledge on mainframe automation using ChangeMan * Experience with the configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet. * Proficiency in one or more scripting languages like Groovy, PowerShell, Shell and Go. * Experience with code scanning solutions such as SNYK * Experience with developing scripts to integrate with ServiceNow and Splunk via APIs * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. * Hands on experience leveraging ARGO CD for Kubernetes workload deployments.
