Security Professional - Patrol Specialist

As a Security Professional - Patrol Specialist in Rockingham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a food and beverage production environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming environment, while your strong communication skills support positive interactions with staff and visitors. This position requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to individuals at the food and beverage facility by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response efforts, including evacuations or medical emergencies, in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving and must be issued in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
